New Businesses, Restaurants, and Developments Coming to Hutto

A running guide to the restaurants, shops, services, employers, and development projects taking shape around Hutto, Texas. Here’s what has been announced, what public records show, and what we’re still waiting to learn.

Last updated: October 17, 2026

A construction filing shows a planned scope and schedule. It does not establish that work has started, that construction is finished, or that a business has opened. Proposed projects and estimated timelines can change.

Food & Drink

Buffalo Wild Wings

Status: Restaurant project documented; current opening status unconfirmed.
Location: 2270 Muirfield Bend Drive, in the Star Ranch area.
Timeline: The state filing listed September 26, 2026, as the construction completion target. A current opening date has not been verified for this guide.

The filing describes a full-service Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant and bar inside an existing shell building, with approximately 6,070 square feet of space. The filed completion target has passed, so it should not be presented as an upcoming opening date.

7 Brew Coffee

Status: Drive-thru coffee project documented; current opening status unconfirmed.
Location: 130 Chris Kelley Boulevard.
Timeline: The filing listed a July–September 2026 construction schedule; a current opening date remains unverified.

State records describe an approximately 865-square-foot drive-thru coffee stand. September 20, 2026, was the filed construction completion target, which has already passed. That record alone does not establish whether the stand is serving customers.

El Pollo Rico

Status: Restaurant construction project documented; current opening status unconfirmed.
Location: 901 Ed Schmidt Boulevard.
Timeline: A current restaurant opening date has not been verified.

The state filing calls for a new one-story building with an approximately 2,980-square-foot restaurant buildout and additional space for a future tenant. Its June 16, 2026, construction target has passed. We’re waiting for a current business announcement before assigning an opening date or confirming an operating status.

Antioch Pizza Shop

Status: Listed by the restaurant as opening soon.
Location: 199 Co-Op Boulevard.
Timeline: No specific opening date listed on the restaurant’s location page.

Antioch Pizza Shop lists a Hutto location in its official directory, with the address identified and opening details still pending. The company has not supplied a public opening date on that page, so this listing will be updated when a specific announcement is available.

HTeaO

Status: Lease announcement documented; opening date unconfirmed.
Location: Hutto; local reporting places the planned location across from KFC on Chris Kelley Boulevard.
Timeline: No confirmed opening date found in the sources reviewed.

The leasing team announced an executed HTeaO lease in Hutto and described plans for a two-tenant building with an end-cap drive-thru. That supports the planned location, but it does not establish the current construction stage or a customer opening date.

Munch Munch Waffles & More

Status: Restaurant buildout filed.
Location: 170 Alliance Boulevard, Suite 100, at Townwest Commons.
Timeline: The filing lists construction through January 4, 2027; an opening date is unconfirmed.

Plans call for turning an existing shell space into an approximately 3,010-square-foot restaurant. The state registration lists an estimated construction cost of $750,000. January is a filed construction target, so we’re waiting for a separate opening announcement before calling it an opening month.

Jason’s Deli

Status: Named tenant in current developer materials.
Location: Hutto Shopping Center, at the northeast corner of SH 130 and US 79.
Timeline: No business-specific opening date confirmed for this guide.

Endeavor’s leasing brochure includes Jason’s Deli in the shopping center’s tenant lineup and site plan. The developer material establishes the planned location; a public opening schedule remains something to watch.

LongHorn Steakhouse

Status: Construction filed.
Location: 2800 Innovation Boulevard, at Hutto Shopping Center.
Timeline: The filing lists construction from March 1 through August 15, 2027; an opening date is unconfirmed.

LongHorn has filed plans for a new full-service restaurant with associated site work and landscaping. The project is listed at approximately 5,780 square feet and $3.8 million in estimated construction costs. The August target relates to construction and should not be treated as a confirmed opening.

Pepper Lunch

Status: Lease reported for the planned Hutto location.
Location: Hutto Shopping Center, at the northeast corner of SH 130 and US 79.
Timeline: Reporting on the franchisee’s plans points to a potential December 2027 opening, dependent on delivery of the space.

Pepper Lunch’s regional expansion plans include a Hutto restaurant. Coverage republished by Kyle Economic Development describes an anticipated August 2027 landlord handover followed by a possible December opening. Those are planning estimates and remain subject to change.

Olive Garden

Status: Named tenant in current developer materials.
Location: Hutto Shopping Center, at the northeast corner of SH 130 and US 79.
Timeline: No business-specific opening date confirmed for this guide.

Endeavor’s current brochure includes Olive Garden in the center’s tenant lineup and site plan. The location is documented in developer materials, while a confirmed restaurant opening schedule remains unannounced in the sources reviewed.

Shops & Services

Petco

Status: Named in the landlord’s construction filing.
Location: 150 Alliance Boulevard, at Townwest Commons.
Timeline: The building filing lists an October 31, 2026, completion target; the store opening date is unconfirmed.

The project registration identifies a future Petco and Dollar Tree in a new building, with shell construction and pet-store interior work included in its scope. The construction schedule does not establish when Petco will begin welcoming customers.

Dollar Tree

Status: Store buildout filed.
Location: 150 Alliance Boulevard, Suite 400.
Timeline: The separate store filing lists construction through November 12, 2026; an opening date is unconfirmed.

Dollar Tree’s Townwest Commons location has its own project registration in addition to the landlord’s building filing. The two records cover different scopes, so the shell building’s October target should not be used as the store’s opening date.

Bitewise Orthodontics

Status: Hutto practice announced; opening details need confirmation.
Location: 111 Co-Op Boulevard, Suite 302.
Timeline: A confirmed opening date has not been established for this guide.

Bitewise is promoting a locally owned Hutto orthodontic practice led by Dr. Clay Warder. Its official interest-list page offers priority access to consultations and grand-opening details. We’re waiting for a clearly confirmed opening date before updating that part of the listing.

Glam Nails & Head Spa

Status: Salon buildout filed.
Location: 170 Alliance Boulevard.
Timeline: The filing lists construction through December 1, 2026; an opening date is unconfirmed.

Public records describe an approximately 3,850-square-foot nail spa remodel with an estimated cost of $300,000. The filing documents the planned salon work, but it does not provide a confirmed grand-opening date.

Toyota of Hutto

Status: New dealership facility documented; developer materials identify it as under construction.
Location: Innovation Boulevard.
Timeline: The state filing lists a February 1, 2027, construction completion target; a dealership opening date is unconfirmed.

The planned facility includes automotive sales and service space totaling approximately 109,783 square feet. The state record lists an estimated construction cost of $25 million. Project materials use different street numbers on Innovation Boulevard, so the precise customer address will be added once it is consistent across official sources.

Sprouts Farmers Market

Status: Grocery-store construction filed.
Location: Hutto Shopping Center, at the northeast corner of SH 130 and US 79.
Timeline: The filing lists construction from September 2026 through February 7, 2028; the store opening date is unconfirmed.

Plans call for an approximately 23,299-square-foot Sprouts Farmers Market. The project is listed as a new build-to-suit store with an estimated construction cost of $4.8 million. Construction estimates and the retailer’s eventual opening announcement may differ.

Advanced Dental Care — New Office Buildout

Status: Dental-office renovation filed for an existing Hutto practice.
Location: 401 Ed Schmidt Boulevard, Suite 500, in the project filing.
Timeline: The filing lists work from October 19, 2026, through January 29, 2027.

The project would convert an existing chiropractic space into an approximately 2,508-square-foot dental office. Advanced Dental Care already operates in Hutto; its current website lists Suite 100 at the same street address. The filing does not establish when patients would use Suite 500 or whether it will replace or supplement the current office.

AlphaGraphics

Status: Planned printing and signage location; opening timeline reported.
Location: 120 Ed Schmidt Boulevard, Suite C, according to October coverage.
Timeline: Mid-November 2026 has been reported; a specific opening day is unconfirmed.

The planned Hutto center would provide printing, signs, banners, business cards, and related services. The company’s social posts describe preparations for the location, while October reporting supplies the address and anticipated November opening. We’ll update the listing when the business announces a specific date.

Fitness & Hotels

Crunch Fitness

Status: Gym construction filed.
Location: 320 Ed Schmidt Boulevard.
Timeline: The filing lists construction from November 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027; an opening date is unconfirmed.

Crunch’s planned Hutto facility is listed at approximately 39,992 square feet, with an estimated construction cost of $1.5 million. The registration covers a new fitness center. It does not establish an opening day, membership launch, or final amenity lineup.

Everhome Suites

Status: Hotel construction filed.
Location: 2235 Limmer Loop.
Timeline: The filing lists construction from July 2026 through June 1, 2027; an opening date is unconfirmed.

State records describe an approximately 54,582-square-foot new hotel with an estimated construction cost of $11 million. The filed schedule is a construction estimate; a separate hotel announcement is needed to confirm when guests can book and stay.

Residence Inn by Marriott

Status: Local zoning framework approved; subsequent construction filing reported.
Location: 328 Ed Schmidt Boulevard.
Timeline: Reporting on the state registration lists construction from December 15, 2026, through September 30, 2028; an opening date is unconfirmed.

The approved development plan calls for a four-story hotel. The September registration is reported to cover an approximately 87,899-square-foot project with a pool and surface parking, at an estimated cost of $11 million. Local approval and the filing are milestones toward construction; neither confirms a groundbreaking or opening day.

Home2 Suites

Status: Proposed hotel; P&Z recommendation issued.
Location: Ed Schmidt Boulevard, on the Emory Farms commercial property near TownePlace Suites.
Timeline: No confirmed construction or opening schedule established for this guide.

On October 13, Planning & Zoning voted 5–2 to recommend a revised planned unit development ordinance associated with a proposed Home2 Suites on lots 2 and 3. Discussion covered height, landscaping, screening, and lighting near neighboring properties. A P&Z recommendation is one review step and does not establish final City Council approval or a construction start.

Major Projects & Employers

Blue Origin / Constellation Park

Status: Campus announced by Blue Origin.
Location: Hutto’s US 79 corridor, between Innovation and Alliance boulevards.
Timeline: More than 2,000 manufacturing and related jobs are planned over 10 years; an operating date has not been confirmed for this guide.

Blue Origin announced Constellation Park on October 8: a 1.3-million-square-foot manufacturing campus supporting satellite and communications programs. Work is expected to include solar arrays, avionics, telecommunications equipment, and other satellite hardware. The employment commitment is a long-term plan and does not mean all positions are available immediately.

Colovore

Status: Hutto data center announced and construction filed.
Location: 2401 Innovation Boulevard.
Timeline: The filing lists construction from December 1, 2026, through December 1, 2028.

Colovore identifies Hutto as the location of its AUS01 data center. The state registration describes an approximately 192,694-square-foot data center with administrative space and a screened equipment yard, at an estimated construction cost of $280 million. The company’s marketing and the filing use different delivery timeframes, so we’re treating the construction schedule as an estimate.

Skybox / Prologis — Building 4

Status: Data center core-and-shell construction filed.
Location: 3399 County Road 132, Building 4.
Timeline: The filing lists construction from January 20, 2027, through October 30, 2028.

The registration for “Skybox Hutto 4 – Core/Shell” covers a new building intended for future data center use, associated offices, and site improvements. It lists an estimated construction cost of $550 million. A core-and-shell filing describes the building project; it does not establish a named operating tenant or the date a completed data center will begin service.

TSTC Advanced Manufacturing Center

Status: Under construction in the project materials reviewed.
Location: Innovation Boulevard, at TSTC’s Williamson County campus.
Timeline: TSTC has announced a spring 2027 opening; board materials identify an earlier occupancy target in January 2027.

The approximately 70,635-square-foot facility is being developed for advanced manufacturing and semiconductor training, industrial systems, and precision machining. It is an expansion of TSTC’s existing Hutto presence. Construction completion, building occupancy, and the beginning of classes can be different milestones.

Titan Innovation Business Park — Phase III

Status: Industrial phase documented in city platting records.
Location: Limmer Loop, east of Innovation Boulevard.
Timeline: A current phase-wide construction or tenant opening schedule has not been established for this guide.

City records identify Phase III as a larger industrial area with individual lots moving through development review. An October 2025 P&Z item addressed a 13.021-acre industrial lot within that phase. Phase III should be distinguished from the park’s older “Building III”; they are different references and do not establish the same construction timeline.

New Hutto Area Chamber Headquarters

Status: New downtown headquarters announced.
Location: Historic Downtown Hutto; the announcement does not establish a final public street address.
Timeline: No confirmed construction or opening schedule in the city announcement.

The Chamber and Hutto EDC announced plans for a permanent headquarters with offices, meeting space, and facilities for business and community activity. The announcement also describes the EDC’s acquisition of the Chamber’s longtime East Street building. The two properties have related roles in downtown plans, but the existing building should not be assumed to be the new headquarters site.

Commercial Developments & Proposals

Hutto Shopping Center

Status: Grocery-anchored retail development marketed by Endeavor.
Location: Northeast corner of SH 130 and US 79, along Innovation Boulevard.
Timeline: Delivery varies by building and tenant; no single opening date applies to the whole center.

Developer materials identify Sprouts, LongHorn, Jason’s Deli, Pepper Lunch, and Olive Garden among the planned tenants. Individual stores have separate construction and opening schedules. This project is distinct from Townwest Commons, where Petco, Dollar Tree, and other businesses are tracked separately.

Cottonwood Marketplace

Status: Site plan announced by the city and developer.
Location: Near US 79 and County Road 132.
Timeline: The city announcement does not provide a confirmed opening schedule.

Hutto EDC and Fidelis announced that a site plan had been received for a planned shopping and dining development. The announcement also describes coordination on surrounding roads and traffic improvements. Tenant announcements remain a separate milestone; the site plan should not be treated as confirmation of a particular retailer.

Limmer Square

Status: Mixed-use development documented; commercial pad sites marketed.
Location: Southwest corner of Limmer Loop and SH 130.
Timeline: No business-specific opening schedule confirmed for this guide.

The commercial offering is part of a larger mixed-use project with residential components. Current marketing lists pad sites along the Limmer Loop and SH 130 frontage. Available commercial land does not establish which businesses will occupy it, so tenant names will be added when supported by announcements or filings.

Knowles Retail Shell

Status: Commercial shell building construction filed; tenants unannounced in the filing.
Location: 1501 Knowles Drive.
Timeline: The filing lists construction from November 30, 2026, through July 12, 2027.

Plans describe an approximately 5,232-square-foot building shell and associated site work for potential restaurant, business, or retail use. The registration lists an estimated cost of about $2.83 million. It documents space being prepared for future occupants and does not identify a confirmed restaurant or store.

West Live Oak Retail

Status: PUD zoning amendment approved; tenant unannounced.
Location: The approximately five-acre retail tract near West Live Oak Street and Ed Schmidt Boulevard.
Timeline: No confirmed tenant opening schedule.

City Council approved the zoning amendment on October 1, with conditions concerning the site’s share of West Live Oak Extension costs and traffic impact fees. The changes support a specialty retailer or other commercial uses, with a grocery store discussed as a possibility. The approval does not identify a grocery chain or guarantee a store.

Hutto Tech & Trade Center

Status: Development agreements and related land-use actions approved; project still requires development steps.
Location: Between SH 130 and CR 119 / Ed Schmidt Boulevard, north of Emory Crossing Boulevard.
Timeline: No confirmed tenant opening schedule established for this guide.

The project covers adjoining tracts discussed as a multi-building light-industrial development. On October 1, Council approved development agreements and related annexation, zoning, land-use, and road-alignment actions. The developer described approximately 800,000 square feet of industrial space and associated infrastructure work. Named occupants and opening dates remain separate questions.

The Gateway at Hutto

Status: Mixed-use project proposed by the developer.
Location: East WilCo Highway and County Road 137.
Timeline: No confirmed project-wide construction or opening schedule in the developer page reviewed.

Capland describes a development combining housing, retail, dining, leisure, and open space. Its public materials illustrate a broad development concept. Specific businesses, final designs, and delivery dates should be treated as unconfirmed until supported by more detailed announcements and approvals.

Public Projects

Proposed Hutto Justice Center

Status: Proposed public safety facility, subject to a November bond election.
Location: Hutto; the city’s current bond information describes a site with access from Limmer Loop.
Timeline: The city estimates completion in 2029 if the bond passes.

The city is asking voters to consider a $48 million bond for a new Justice Center serving Hutto Police Department. Plans include police administration, investigations, evidence functions, patrol operations, and support space. The city also describes space reserved for future dispatch functions. The project remains contingent on the election outcome.

About This Guide

Howdy Hutto follows business announcements, developer materials, city meetings, and public construction records. We update listings as new information becomes available and distinguish proposed projects from announcements, approvals, and confirmed openings.

“Opening date unconfirmed” means we have not verified a customer opening date in the sources reviewed. It does not, by itself, mean a business is delayed or closed. We revisit the guide as businesses open and new projects are announced.
